Mucci's is a smaller place off 7th street that doesn't look much like a restaurant. It has more of the vibe of the old corner place.
They were recently chosen as a semifinalist by the James Beard Foundation in the category of Outstanding Hospitality for 2025 and it does not disappoint.
The Caesar has a delicious pile of parm on it, the fresh pasta makes for great dishes, and the Tiramisu is better than Cossetta's (heavy take, right?)
The aren't too serious either, one of their signature drinks is Mucci Juice, red wine and orange fanta. Way better than you might think at first.
Tony, this is great- can't wait to try Mucci's. Tell me they have anchovies on the Caesar(?)and, as far as the Tira Misu...mine takes two days to make; I'm always looking for a good one that provides more instant gratification!
